The action of donning is played out through daily rituals that often go unnoticed, yet they set up the way we perceive the world and ourselves.  These rituals also construct the lies that we subject ourselves to. This series of work is concerned with the relationship of the body to the social structures of beautification and how, when pushed to excess, they become grotesque.
